Overview
In electrocoating (electrodeposition, ED or e-coat), parts are immersed in a waterborne paint bath and an electric current deposits the paint evenly over the surface. Film thickness is uniform, coverage of recesses and edges is excellent and paint utilization is high, so e-coat is widely used for automotive parts, primers and parts that need high corrosion resistance.
Our e-coat plants cover pre-treatment, the e-coat tank, rinse and recovery stages, curing oven and overhead conveyor, with operator platforms and automated handling planned around your products.
