Hydrogen Embrittlement Relief Ovens

Roller-Conveyor Hydrogen Embrittlement Relief Oven

Continuous hydrogen embrittlement relief (baking) oven with a roller conveyor, electric or gas-fired, for baking high-strength fasteners after plating with steady, continuous output.

Models

  • HTC-RHE-001

Overview

High-strength screws and spring parts can absorb hydrogen during pickling and electroplating. If it is not removed, the parts may fail by delayed brittle fracture under load. Baking at a controlled temperature for several hours after plating lets the hydrogen diffuse out — an essential step for automotive and structural fasteners.

The roller-conveyor oven moves bins or trays continuously through the heated zone, suiting lines that need long bake times with continuous output. Heating can be electric or gas-fired, and the bake temperature and time can be set to meet standards such as ISO 4042 and ASTM B850.

Features

  • Roller conveyor moves bins in and out continuously
  • Electric or gas-fired heating
  • Insulated casing for uniform temperature
  • Temperature and bake time set to your standard
